Gold Creek represents a modern architectural interpretation of the existing school, blending traditional and contemporary colours and materials to create visual interest in the building's form. Internally, the design maintains flexibility between various learning spaces.

A standout feature is the integrated photovoltaic solar panel system on the north-facing roof.
