Coggan’s
Bakery

The revitalisation of the heritage-listed Coggan’s Bakery building in Braddon presents a unique opportunity to restore a significant historical site while enhancing its role within the community.
Designated as a heritage site in 2011, this bakery is a vital piece of local history, having operated continuously since the 1920s in the former Federal Capital Territory until its closure in 1991. Our approach to this redevelopment centres on a deep respect for the building's historical context and architectural integrity.

Located on a prominent corner in Braddon, the design prioritises the preservation of the building's character while integrating contemporary elements that will breathe new life into the space. We aim to maintain the original aesthetic while introducing a vibrant new use that aligns with Braddon.
This transformation aims to create a dynamic hub that not only honours the building's legacy but also contributes positively to the inner-city environment.
